I studied film as an undergrad at Columbia University
(1996-2000), and later graphic design in night school
at the Parsons School of Design (2001-2004).
I was born and raised in an American-German family
in Diepholz, Germany, and have lived in New York City
since 1996. These days I live in Queens as a freelance
graphic designer, mostly for children's books and
academic publications. You can see some of my design
work here. I occasionally get paid to draw mazes and
once held the Guinness record for miniscule handwriting.
